Red-D-Arc, an Airgas company, is North America’s largest welder rental company. We presently operate a rental fleet of over 40,000 welders, positioners, generators and welding-related specialty equipment from over 40 branch locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Our business includes rentals, leasing and used and new sales of welding and welding-related equipment and accessories.

Job Description To service and maintain equipment, ensure a clean working environment and assist other technicians in the shop as needed.

Essential Duties
Test and calibrate machines to see if they are functional for rent or sale
Repaint parts, touch up paint, and put decals on welders to keep up general appearance
Replace defective parts and do any preventative maintenance required
Get parts as required in order to complete repairs
Check out returned equipment for proper operation and /or damage by the customer
Build and disassemble paks
Make sure equipment looks presentable to the customer
Replace panels, hoods, doors as necessary to make the machines look as best as they can

Marginal Duties Operate a forklift, pallet truck and other warehouse equipment

Qualifications Ability to perform very heavy work (routinely lift 25-75 lb, occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lb)
Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours
Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required
Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities
Must be able to work inside and outside in temperatures ranging from 10 F to 110 F degrees
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
